In the first place, the Cupra is preparing to produce an electric hot-hatch, which produces the performance versions of the Seat models and then turns into a separate brand by separating from the Spanish manufacturer. Based on the Leon, the Cupra e-Racer will have 6072 battery cells in total of 65 kWh, which will transmit its power to the rear wheels. These batteries, which will produce 407 hp power continuously, will produce power up to 680 hp when needed. The car will accelerate from 0-100 km / h in 3.2 seconds and can accelerate from 0-200 km / h in 8.2 seconds.

The chassis will be predominantly based on the road version of the Cupra Leon TCR, and the contest in the new E TCR electric category is expected. Matthias Rabe, Executive Vice President of the Seat R & D Department, said in his statement; "With the Cupra e-Racer we want to bring the races to a different level. We can help you make your motorsport different. I am very proud that we have a motorsport, an important part of the Cupra, and we can produce an electric racing-road car, "he said.
