German automobile company Daimler Benz reportedly will recall 774,000 vehicles across Europe.



It was stated that the company used non-licensed devices to measure emission gas in the vehicles and recalled 774 thousand vehicles because of the low emission value on this number.

DETERMINED TO USE A NON-UNSUFFICIENT SOFTWARE DEVICE

It was noticed that the decision to recall came after the meeting with Daimler Chairman Dieter Zetsche's Federal Minister of Transport Andreas Scheuer.

It has been stated that software devices which do not have the license to control emission values ​​of the vehicles are used and therefore the emission values ​​are above the determined values.

774 THOUSAND VEHICLES RETURN

Minister Scheuer announced that the withdrawal decision process will be regulated by the Federal Motor Authority.

Daimler explained that they would dispute but they would appeal.

According to the resolution, Daimler will recall a total of 774,000 vehicles across Europe, including 238 in Germany.

The vehicles to be recalled were reported to be Mercedes' Vito, GLC 330D and C220D models.
