2020 Seat Leon is introduced with five-door hatchback and station wagon versions.

By switching to the MQB platform, the platform twin of the new Golf and Octavia, 2020 Seat Leon, measures 4.368 mm in length, 1.800 mm in width, 1.456 mm in height, and 2.686 mm in wheelbase. This means that the new generation Leon has 86mm longer and 50mm more wheelbase than its predecessor. The height and width decreased slightly compared to the current model.

2020 Seat Leon has gone the way of the new Golf in interior design, but has also managed to show its own character. There is a 10.25 inch digital dashboard right behind the three-spoke steering wheel, which looks very sporty, and an infotainment display in 8 or 10 inch sizes in the middle. Hexagonal design air vents, USB ports in the center console, wireless charging unit, start-stop button and small gear switch are among the remarkable details in the cabin of the new Leon.

With the transition to the new platform, the luggage volume in the station wagon version of 2020 Seat Leon increased by 30 liters compared to its predecessor, reaching 617 liters. The luggage volume of the hatchback version remained at 380 liters, neither increased nor decreased.

2020 SEAT LEON ENGINE OPTIONS

Options under the hood of the 2020 Seat Leon. These include 1.0-liter three-cylinder TSI with 90 and 110-horsepower outputs, 1.5-liter TSI with 130- and 150-horsepower outputs, and 2.0-liter four-cylinder TSI engines that produce 190 horsepower. On the diesel side of the new Seat Leon, there is a 2.0-liter TDI engine with 115 and 150 horsepower options.

The 2020 Seat Leon will also have a CNG (compressed natural gas) version, depending on the market it is available for sale. Leon with CNG, which will use a 1.5-liter TSI engine that produces 130 horsepower, will travel 440 kilometers thanks to three CNG tanks in its body. When the fuel in the tanks runs out, the transition to gas will take place automatically.

The 2020 Seat Leon will also feature a plug-in hybrid (rechargeable hybrid) version. The powertrain of the Seat Leon PHEV will consist of a 1.4 liter TSI, an electric motor and a 13 kWh battery pack, as in the new Golf and Octavia. Thanks to this combination, the new Leon, which has 204 horsepower, will be able to proceed 60 kilometers in pure electricity mode. The 2020 Seat Leon will also be sold in 48V lightweight hybrid versions built on 1.0 liter and 1.5 liter TSI engines.

2020 Seat Leon will also be a very rich car in terms of driver assistance technologies. Adaptive cruise control, dynamic chassis control system, semi-autonomous driving assistant "Travel Assist" and Emergency Assist 3.0 are among the remarkable details. 2020 Seat Leon will be available in the second quarter of the year.
