The car seems to have almost the same dimensions as the Q7, but with a sloping ceiling design it feels much smaller. With an axle span of about 3 meters, Audi is intimidating its class-leading opponents. The Q8's 605-liter luggage is up to 1,755 liters when the bulkhead seats are tilted. Audi explains this volume as "two golf bags in a transverse fashion fit comfortably". The electric luggage compartment is standard, and the optional luggage compartment can be purchased.



Visually, the Q8 carries traces of the new A8. A range of stylish matrices, with six vertical chrome strips framed by LED headlights, make it easy to distinguish a single-frame grille from other family members. A sharp C-pillar and a slightly sloping roof line complete the look with side-profile character, a dual LED rear headlamp tied to the LED bar on the backside and integrated spoiler on the ceiling. Similarities with the new A8 continue in the cabin of the Q8. The center console has two touchscreens and digital dials on the dials.



Aluminum-reinforced chassis used in the car, both saving weight and increased durability. The 3.0-liter TDI engine is used with a new chassis of 2145 kg. Speaking of the V6 diesel motord, the Q8 uses a hybrid engine powered by a 40 volt electric motor. This electric system supports the car up to 160 km / h and provides about 0.7 liters of fuel savings at 100 km.



The Q8 50 TDI model 3.0-liter V6 TDI delivers 286 hp and 600 Nm of torque, transferring them on four wheels with an 8-speed tip gearbox and a 6.3-second acceleration of 0-100 km / h. In the first months of 2019, it will take its place in the 3.0 TFSI petrol product range of 340 HP. Slovakia's capital city, Bratislava, is expected to hit the market in Germany and other European countries in the third quarter of the year. US sales will start in 2019.
