Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi announced that the company will resume its driverless car test in a few months. Uber, who pulls smart car fleet into the garage as a result of a driverless car crashing into a car during autonomous vehicle tests in Arizona, is waiting for the first report of federal traffic investigators before resuming tests.

Khosrowshahi said that Uber will resume testing following the results of an investigation conducted by the National Traffic Safety Board and the company's Advanced Technology Group in Pittsburgh.

In the accident in the city of Tempe, Arizona, Uber's driverless car hit Elaine Herzberg, 49, who was riding his bike across the street, causing him to lose his life.
