Will be sold in the second half of 2018 with hybrid and performance versions of the 4th generation BMW X5 plug-in that will share the same architecture as the 7 Series.

BMW is finally making the final touches on the X5, which is displayed during the winter test in Scandinavia. The model, which the firm's patron Harald Krüger has confirmed to be on the road this year, is expected to be available for sale in October. The 2nd level will also allow autonomous driving and control of car braking and steering maneuvers. The self-parking car driver will be able to control over the key if he wants.

Under the hood, the "fast" version of the BMW X5 will carry a dual-turbocharged V8 unit with a capacity of 4.4 liters, 600 bhp, to share with the other model M5. The current X5 M will be 25 bhp, while the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S will be 30 bhp more powerful than the new model will be the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 at 610 hp. With the help of the CLAR platform, the new X5 M, expected to be lighter than the current model, is planned to be completed at speeds of 0-100 km / h in less than 4 seconds.
