The world's first electric road, which can charge electric cars and batteries of heavy vehicles at the time of driving, opened in Sweden. The government has already prepared plans to expand the related institutions for the system, which is installed by electric railway 2 kilometers long, on the open road to the nearest capital Stockholm.



DIESEL USE FALL

Sweden plans to reduce the country's fossil fuels by 2030, and a 70 per cent reduction in fossil fuel use in the transport sector is required.

COST OPPORTUNITY ONLY

The first to test the road was a truck belonging to a logistics company named PostNord and that used diesel fuel before. Hans Säll, top manager of the project eRoadlander, who develops the project, says that current tools and routes can easily adapt to this technology.

The cost of rechargeable electric road technology is 1 million euros per kilometer. It costs 50% of the cost of the city tram line.

Säll says that a total of half a million kilometers in Sweden and 20 thousand kilometers of them are highways, only that the electrification of this distance is enough.

COMPLETELY STARTED WITH GERMANY

The fact that there are not more than 45 kilometers between two highways in the country and that electric vehicles can go without charge at this distance is enough to make the transportation problem-free.

Noting that there is no energy on the road, officials at eRoadland say the dual rail is no different from the sockets on the wall. Electric current comes from the bottom surface of 5-6 centimeters. Tests revealed that even in the case of spillage of saline water, it was determined that the energy was only 1 volt, but it did not prevent walking with bare feet.

It was reported that negotiations for the establishment of the road in Berlin in Germany were also initiated for the road opened with the ceremony which the Swedish minister was present.
