According to a statement from Renault, B-SUV leader Captur offers the highest level of active and passive safety. Captur, which was renewed in November 2019, successfully passed the latest generation Euro NCAP safety tests with a maximum rating of 5 stars.
In addition to passenger and pedestrian safety, the new Captur has demonstrated its full ability to provide complete Driving Assist Systems (ADAS).

The new Captur has a rich hardware level. 6 airbags, ABS with emergency brake assist, a camera and radar (these equipment enable lane stay, speed-alert traffic sign recognition, safe distance warning and emergency brake assist system), speed adjustment and limiting, seat belt reminder and emergency call on all five seats.
Also included as a standard 360-degree camera, 100 percent LED headlights, automatic dipped / main beam and self-darkening interior rearview mirror, provides a safer vision.
Captur's new electronic architecture makes it possible to use an active emergency brake assist system that detects pedestrians, bicycles and other vehicles, and offers Traffic and Highway Support, the first step of autonomous driving.
