The 2019 Geneva Motor Show, Dacia exhibits the new Ultimate special series, also called the Techroad in some countries. Fusion Red and Anthracite Gray; Duster is one of the new colors of the special series for the Logan and Stepway family (Sandero, Logan MCV, Lodgy and Dokker).

Dacia introduces the new TCE 130 and 150 hp gasoline engines in Duster. The new generation of gasoline engines includes the Alliance's most up-to-date innovations to meet the highest requirements for reliability and durability.

The Dacia special series is remarkable with its strong design, red décor contrasting to gray and a striking style.

The Ultimate special series

draws attention with red details such as exterior (bodywork lines, rearview mirror bodies, lower part of doors) and interior (door panels, ventilation frames, special trim and front/rear mat). The cabin with a more comfortable look contrasts with light gray tones and dark colors with a dark carbon dashboard.

The mid-range red design features 16-inch dual-tone High Gloss Silver/Gray diamond aluminum wheels (or 17-inch aluminum wheels with Duster) for the front fog lights.

Special series; It comes with convenient Dacia technologies such as the rear view camera and parking sensors, automatic air conditioning, hands-free access card, blind spot warning system, multi-view camera, Apple CarPlay® and Duster City Plus Pack including Android Auto® compatible Media Nav Evolution multimedia system. Depending on the country, the special series opened to order from January will be available in Europe and in early March in most of the 44 countries where Dacia is present.

This launch shows that 2019 will be a brilliant year, said Ionuţ Gheorghe, Sales and Marketing Director, Dacia. Just like the 2018 record, Sandero and New Duster performances marked the 20.5 percent increase in sales.

New sales records

In 2018, Dacia recorded a 7 percent increase in the number of sales of 700 thousand 798 worldwide (7.5 percent in passenger cars, 1.1% in commercial vehicles).

Dacia increased its sales by 10.3 percent to 511 thousand 622 sales units and broke a new record. Market share increased by 0.3 points to 2.9 percent.

Sandero continued to be the best-selling passenger car to retail customers. Launched in 2018, the new Duster also rose to the 1st place in the C-SUV sales ranking for retail customers in Europe.
