The Spanish brand previously presented the performance versions of SEAT's Ateca and Leon models under its umbrella. Formentor SUV will be Cupra's first model in itself. The Cupra Formentor SUV features an aggressive exterior design and is built on dynamic lines. The front part of the car is shaped around the pentagonal grid and the unified LED stop technology called infinite line is used at the back.
The interior of the Formentor SUV is characterized by a high quality and sporty texture. Carbon detailed leather sports seats, Cupra steering wheel, chrome and piano black draw attention. In addition, a new DSG shift changer, digital dashboard and 10-inch multimedia system make up the technology foot of the model.
Under the hood of the Cupra Formentor SUV will take place a hybrid engine was announced. The engine that will produce 245 horsepower to match with the dual-clutch DSG gearbox and locked differential. However, the vehicle will have about 50 kilometers of pure electric range.
The first model of Cupra's own design will be introduced at the Geneva Motor Show next month and will be available in 2020.
