Opel introduced the fifth generation of functional light commercial vehicle Combo. The cargo version of the new Combo is designed to be the best choice for professionals to pay for efficiency and value. The new model will make a difference with its previous generation, new architecture and superior technology.

After the world premiere on September 19, 2018 in Hannover, the new Combo, which will be presented in Europe, will have a 4.40-meter short version and a 4.75-meter long version. Both models will have double row seats.

Opel's new lightweight commercial vehicle will be among the most demanding of its class with its 4.4 m3 carrying area, carrying capacity of 1.000 kg and carrying length of 3.440 mm. Euro pallets, which are critical for most traders, can be easily installed. Short version The Combo even has two pallets to carry comfortably. Another advantage of the new Combo installation is the loading threshold of only 557 mm.

Thanks to the optionally available sunroof, very long loads such as wooden boards can be easily transported. The sensor that controls whether the car is overloaded when the engine is running will be presented as a new feature in its segment with the new Combo. The driver can also manually control the load condition by pressing a key if desired. The system warns the driver with white light if 80 percent of the load limit is reached. When the load limit is exceeded, the warning light turns orange.

The new Combo has 19 driving comfort and comfort features that make it easy to maneuver, maneuver, load or move people. Among these features, the optional continuously-functioning back view camera works like a digital rearview mirror. Light commercial vehicles, especially when the vehicle is fully loaded with the rearview mirror is difficult to know. In such cases, the vehicle must be driven from the side mirrors. On the new Opel Combo, the 8-inch infotainment display shows the area on the back of the car. The backstroke gives the maneuvering support by drawing out the guidance lines. There is also a camera on the side of the passenger side. Thanks to this camera, there is no blind spot in the Combo.

With the side protection system, a new addition to Opel's extensive park / maneuver support systems is added. Side protection With 12 sensors around the vehicle, the driver detects obstacles that may hit the side of the car at low speeds and warns the driver.

Professionals whose work areas are in mud, sand or snow will be able to get front-wheel drive combos with the IntelliGrip antipaturity system and "workspace" settings that Opel customers recognize from Grandland X. In these settings the new Combo rises by 30 mm and achieves wider tire sizes. Other safety features to be offered at Opel's new lightweight merchant include:

Front Collision Warning System with Automatic Brake Assist: This system not only makes audible and visual warnings, but also automatically brakes if the driver does not react quickly.

Opel Eye Front Camera System: The system known from the models like Opel Astra, Corsa and Mokka X follows the way and supports features such as speed mark recognition and lane tracking systems.

Automatic Cruise Control: It adapts to the speed of the car that watches ahead if necessary.

Intelligent Speed Adaptation: This system warns the driver when a speed limit is reached in the speed mark recognition system. If the cruise control or speed limit is active, the driver asks if he wants to adjust to the new speed.

Driver Fatigue Detection System: The system detects the fatigue level of the driver by following the driving style and recommends that it be paused if needed.

With a leading carrying capacity in its class, the new Opel Combo does not seem to be under the hood. In addition, our new lightweight technology also incorporates ultra-modern technologies previously seen only in passenger segments. All of these features make the Combo a car suitable for every purpose, literally with the characteristics of a passenger car that has proven itself in the areas of driving support, safety and comfort.

The Combo model was introduced in 1987 as a multifunctional light commercial model of the four generations of day-to-day professionals. The first generation Combo Kadett, the second and third generation, rose on the Corsa infrastructure. The fourth generation was developed jointly with Fiat. The new Combo is based on a completely new architecture within the Groupe PSA, Europe's light commercial segment leader.
